One of our best pollinator plants! This high-value nectar plant attracts a truly remarkable array of pollinators: bees, butterflies, moths, beetles, flies, beneficial wasps. You can often observe multiple species at once on one flower! Birds eat the seeds and use the tufts in nest building. Also attracts hummingbirds. Young stems can be peeled and eaten like celery.
