Narrow, grass-like leaves grow from an edible bulb that tastes like onion. Leaves can be used like chives. White or pinkish flowers arise from top-set bulbs which can be replanted. Top-set bulbs and strong onion/garlic smell are important identifying characteristics. Attracts hummingbirds, bees, butterflies and other pollinators. Bulbs and leaves are eaten by wild turkeys. 4″ pot
