Clusters of yellow flowers attract a wide array of pollinators in the fall. Showy seed heads provide interest after bloom is over. A close relative of the goldenrods. Contrary to popular belief, goldenrods do not cause seasonal allergies! Their pollen is heavy and spread by insects, not the wind, so unless a bee flies up your nose then goldenrods are not the culprit. Ragweed commonly blooms at the same time and has wind-dispersed pollen that is well-known for causing allergies, so don’t miss out on these important fall pollinator plants! This plant spreads aggressively, not suitable for small spaces. 1 gallon
