Mimulus alatus (Sharpwing Monkeyflower)

Lavender flowers attract bees, particularly bumblebees. Plants prefer part shade and moist soil but can tolerate full sun as long as soils do not dry out. Tolerant of flooding and suitable for rain gardens. Host plant for the Common Buckeye Butterfly.
