Deciduous vine with showy lavender flowers that attract butterflies and hummingbirds. Ripe fruits can be eaten fresh or made into a jelly. Host plant for the Gulf Fritillary, Variegated Fritillary and Zebra Longwing butterflies and the Red-Banded Hairstreak. Will spread by root suckers. 1 gallon pot
