Elegant spikes of lavender flowers attract butterflies, bees, hummingbirds and other pollinators from early spring through summer. Attractive leaves make a foot traffic-tolerant groundcover that can be mown when the plants are not in bloom. Thrives in full sun and bright shade. Makes a beautiful spring display when planted en masse. Seeds are eaten by mourning doves.
