Large, showy red flowers attract hummingbirds, butterflies and bees. A show-stopper in the garden. Prefers medium to moist soils – suitable for rain gardens. This is a large plant, so give it some room to grow. Slightly salt tolerant.
*Provenance: The seeds used to grow these plants were collected in St. Tammany Parish, but the parent plants were a little too close to a garden center to be certain that these are truly local ecotype.
